On February 4 2014 DoubleMe3D, a new 3D scan-and-print studio, opened in Bleiswijk, Holland. It aims at offering a brand new service – clients can have all of their bodies scanned. The details of the scanning supplies a digital model for further 3D printed selfies. The prints are made from PLA plastic in various colors, even copper, silver, sandstone and gold. A QR code will be sent to customers at the end of the procedure. It will include payment information that is to be used to pay for 3D scan-and-print service.
