3D replica of George Washington’s bust is almost ready

Recently we announced that the team united under the project called “George Crowdsourcington” was planning to create 3D replica of George Washington’s bust. 3D scanned copy of the bust provided by Direct Dimensions was split into 110 independent digital pieces and any who had 3D printer could be involved in the printing process.
The team is planning to show the assembled bust at the 2014 NY 3D Print Show. Currently they are waiting for last pieces to arrive and ready to finish the assembly at any moment.
