Material Description
MADE IN USA. The Taulman 618 Nylon Filament is a high strength, high durability nylon co-polymer filament. Prints as a bright white with a translucent surface, and can be colored with most common clothing dyes. It has been specifically engineered for 3D printing and comes in 1lb spools.The Taulman 618 nylon filament will not stick to glass or aluminum print tables. Best bonding is achieved at a true 245°C.

Taulman 618 3D Printing material comes in 1 pound spools, packaged in an edge delivery spool 9″ diameter x 1.75″ thick (228mm x 44mm) for convenient mount and print. The leading end is tucked externally in the package tab.
We recommend using a Garolite print plate to help minimize warping of printed items.
When using with the Afinia and Up! printers, we strongly recommend using the Octave Extruder Nozzle Temperature Switch so that the filament is extruded at the nominal, lower temperature, otherwise burning and brown spots may occur.
